Karan Oberoi, a well-know face of the Indian television industry, is all set to make a massive comeback after taking a break of seven long years. The actor-cum-singer was in the buzz for his single ‘Chaundvin Ka Chand’, which was released recently.

Karan started his career as a model. The charming looks and an appealing persona made him one of the favourite figures on the screen. In no time, he started bagging uncountable television commercials and daily operas.

His debut show Swabhimaan, directed by Mahesh Bhatt and written by well-acclaimed writer Shobha De, was a tremendous hit. His hard work, passion and acting skills made him a star overnight as he started getting innumerable offers. Later on, Karan worked in TV shows like Saaya and Dishayen, where he played quite prominent roles. But his life took a turn when Raghav Oberoi, his character in the popular drama Jassi Jaisi Koi nahi, became a household face.

Having a keen interest in music, Karan went on to form India’s first all-male band under the name ‘Band of Boys’. The indie pop boy band gave out some mesmerizing pieces of music which turned out to be great hits. After working on few albums, Karan enthralled his fans with singles like ‘Challa’, ‘Raat Kaali’, and  ‘Chaudhvin ka Chand’, which are in fact part of his new album ‘Retronica’. What's interesting is that, apart from being a trained musician and singer, Karan knows to play 20 different musical instruments.
As of now, Karan is busy with his upcoming movie Strawberry point, a‘one of its kind’ film. Karan was last seen on the silver screen in ‘Kis Kis ko’, a project undertaken by his band
